The Beginning

I like to bounce around when I write sometimes. It keeps your mind tuned in better.

When my husband and I decided to look a little more into the lifestyle we discovered a whole new world we never knew existed. We thought that this would be a small group of people that were involved and that it would probably be hard to find like-minded individuals that we really clicked with. Boy were we wrong!!!

We started looking online. There are specific websites out there such as swinglifestyle and SDC that match you with other like-minded couples in the lifestyle. These websites were and still are wonderful resources to us. We were able to go online, much like a dating website and make a profile, post pictures and email people back and forth.

One day my husband and I were online while the kids were napping. It was a Saturday afternoon and he was playing on the computer looking at postings while I was cleaning the house up a bit. All of a sudden we got an instant message from a couple we had not yet connected with. They started chatting it up a bit. We found out they were J and J and they did not live too far away from us. They were a couple new to the lifestyle as well and invited us to have a drink out with them sometime when we were free. That evening we had planned on going out as a couple. There was a little club for people in the lifestyle about 45 minutes from our house and we were wanting to stop in there and see what it was all about. After a little bit of conversation my husband was very interested in meeting them. The men found out they had similar jobs and that we both had kids at home still.

Not to seem too forward but we were excited to connect with someone so much like us just a few days on this site. My husband was really anxious to see them so he messaged them back about meeting at a small little bar not far from our house. They were able to meet and we ended up meeting them before we went to the club.

Meeting them was very nerve racking to say the least. We had never done this before. Questions popped up such as, what do we talk about? What do we wear? How do we say goodbye? These are all going through our head as we walk through that narrow doorway into the bar…..
