End of Vacation....

So I am blogging in my SUV while traveling on I 75 in Florida. (husband is driving I promise) Back home to the sunshine state, sorta, still a few hours till we get home thanks to living in SouthWest Florida. My husband has been busy trying to build our new site. If you haven't checked it out yet look at it, let me know what you think, www.theswingwife.com. He is in charge of all my technical stuff since I have absolutely no clue on all that. Hope to get the audience built up a bit so let your friends know ab out us.

Road trips always bring up interesting conversations between my husband and I. Everything from religion to LS topics and how religion and the LS interfere with each other. We saw one sign in Georgia this morning that talked about sexuality and the Bible. They put Lev 18:22 so what did we do, we googled it (like everything else). It talked mainly about having sex with family members and that being a sin. It had one line about a man not being about to lay with another man as he would a woman in between all of the paragraphs talking about acts of incest. I am bringing this up because I want your opinions. For myself this has been one of the stumbling blocks for me mentally because I was raised in the church and we do go to church as a family as often as we can.

My stance is that #1 the Bible has been translated into many different languages, God only knows how many times. I feel like some translation has been skewed at different times to correlate with popular beliefs at that time. Now we do not know what parts were skewed, if any, or how many were mis interpreted as well. I have a really hard time believing that something is so a matter of the fact aside from the ten commandments.

My #2 issue is that I truly believe that things like being bi sexual, straight or even Gay is something that you do not choose. You are born a specific way and from day #1 you feel that way about people. I have experienced it and many in my family have experienced that. (side note: I also believe its genetic)

What do you all think? Is anyone out there struggling with the same issues, thoughts, ideas etc....???  Let me know! Would love to have reader involvement that I can include in the next blog.

New Exciting Adventures!

So much going on right now with Swing Wife! We officially have our website. Woohoo!!!! Check it out at www.theswingwife.com and we of course still have our twitter which is swingwife04.
We need as many followers as possible so check us out! Keep us as a favorite and check it out often.

Now you may ask what is she up to now? Well the original reason I wanted to start a blog was because I wanted to share experiences with others as a way to educate. A way to show people that swingers are just like vanillas. A lot of people want to dabble in the lifestyle but are too afraid. I want to be that outlet.

My husband and I are also going to be starting a podcast as well. This will be coming very very soon so look out for it. We will have it online and available through itunes as well!!!!! We will be taking questions from the audience to answer in the podcasts as well, have lots of friends who will come and talk and so on!!! SO MUCH FUN TO BE HAD!

End goal: so many things I want to do with all this but like I just said it's about educating people. Eventualy I would like to host meet and greets, parties, make theswingwife a way for others to meet and to learn.

Ok enough of that.... Right now we are on summer vacation as a big happy family! I think this is like day 11 or something and we are winding down and heading back to home slowly. Right now we are in Atlanta. Fun fun! Been up the East Coast of the US and across the state of Pennsylvania now we are in Atlanta with the final stop HOME to Florida. Kind of looking forward to getting back home at this point. The kids are exhausting but I know they have had a great time.

Lifestyle activities have been pretty limited to listening to our favorite podcasts in the car (While the kiddos listen to their DVD's of course), working on the website and we did get a night out in PA while we were there. So lets talk about that!!

We went to a place in Pennsylvania a little north of the city of Pittsburgh. I thought the lifestyle clubs in that area would be a little different then in Florida but I think I was a little wrong. Don't get me wrong we had a great time, met a great couple and had a ton of fun. There was also a ton of old people! When I say old I mean MEDICARE RECIPIENTS! Where are all the young people?? If you know the answer to that question contact me and let me know please!!! headwife@theswingwife.com!!

Anyways, they had a great idea for a club and some day... oh some day that is my dream business but for now I just have to hide behind swing wife. Oh well....

Met a wonderful new couple! Oh my gosh! Such a great couple who we were able to talk to and share some firsts with! Always great to meet new friends plus its always exciting for us because we do not go out and play with new people on the first encounter, makes us feel a little wild on the inside!!! =)

Now this is where I need your help! Contact me, headwife@theswingwife.com. I want to know what you want to hear! Do you want to hear all the gooey details or want me to center on other things? Let me know! As for now I've got to tend to the family!!!!! When is bedtime?

Orlando Trip

So I feel like blogging tonight. So I asked my husband, what should I blog about? He quickly replied, "You haven't told our story about Orlando yet!" So here it goes....

We went to Orlando in May. My husband was on a weekend leave from his work in another state (a whole different blog but basically he was gone most of May for work). He flew into Orlando airport and we made a weekend family trip to do Downtown Disney and just have fun! We took the babysitter and her boyfriend (both are 20) So that we could get out that night and have some adult time. About a week before we went we scoped out what was going on in the area. For you newbies here is a few pointers on finding out what there is to do in the lifestyle around the area you are in. We like to check out the parties on the websites that we are members of. Our main website is www.sdc.com but we are also on swinglifestyle as well. You can find local parties around the area under the parties tab and RSVP.

We found a smaller party that was themed that night in downtown Orlando. We saw the guestlist and were interested so we RSVP'd and planned on going. It was a "schoolgirl" theme night.
The kids by the way LOVE every opportunity to get rid of us and have the babysitters stay with them so it was no big deal to them us.
A little background... I have lived in Florida my entire life but never have I been to Downtown Orlando. I wasn't really thinking when I showed up in a small little school girl skirt showing my ASS! We had to park about 3 blocks away in a parking garage. Needless to say I felt like a dirty little slut every step of the way which is normally not a problem when I am around swingers but vanillas were everywhere. Cops everywhere. It was party night in a party city! AWKWARD!!!!!!!
So we finally found the location, it was a tattoo shop, 2 stories that were hosting the event. AWESOME location! I can not wait to try to make it there again to one of there parties.

We knew going into this party that we were not going to be the popular kids because we do not live in the area though on the guestlist we did see a couple that we had met last year at another party so we would at least know someone which was nice.

When we got there we were quickly trying to scope out where to sit, who to talk to and so on. We mingled, talked to a few people, watched some pole dancers that were there and simpy just started to relax.

At one point I got up to move locations and found a empty seat at the bar next to another couple, my husband stood will I sat my happy ass down (shoes were hurting a bit).
We quickly striked up a conversation with this couple next to us.
BEAUTIFUL WOMAN!
Hispanic woman.... just our type!!!!

Had a wonderful night! Talking which led to dancing which led to kissing which led to an invite back to there condo!!!

Oh we had a wonderful wonderful night....

We were there for a few hours so details would go on and on and on and on... everyones sex dream happened that night!

One of the biggest lessons learned at this point of our lifestyle adventure... we were not looking to make friends that night but we have.

It is so easy to talk to other swingers but the friendships that you can make with other swingers is AMAZING. This couple that we met we are talking to at least once a week. We are actually planning  on meeting them in Tampa, which is halfway between there house and ours next weekend.

They are normal people like us. He works, she works, they have a child who is 7. Your normal every day couple next door but they are SWINGERS! It just keeps proving to me time after time. When you think of swingers you do not have that vision in your head most of the time.
I think for most women you think of another women who is out to get your man. Bimbo looking blonde with DD Breast but they aren't always that way.

They could be anyone. We have even met people in the Christian ministry who are in the lifestyle!

For those who aren't educated in the lifestyle or who may be looking to dabble a little here is my advice.
Do not get intimidated by what you think the lifestyle is. There is someone for everyone and like I said above, its those who you would never expect that are in the lifestyle.

Scope out new venues regularly! You gotta do this. Locally for us it sucks, we have to go places to find the people and that is ok. We would rather be a little away from where we work to play! Just our preferance.

Ask questions from those around you with experience, we love to share... in more ways then one!!!

Post questions on here anytime you would like! Would love a Q & A Session!!!

As for now its almost bedtime!!!!!

Happy June!

Its summertime once again! Anyone have any great exciting plans this summer? There are a ton of lifestyle related events going on around the world this time of year. Everything from SDC, SLS, Kasidie etc... sponsored events in clubs to swingers cruises. Sadly, none of which is anything we are doing this summer. Our weekend beach house getaway kind of fell through sadly. We did not have enough RSVP's soon enough to reserve the house. I am sure we would have made it just A OK but it was  a lot of money to put down. (almost $3000).
My work is slow this time of year so blogging is something I am trying to do more of. If you know anyone who may be entertained by my blogs let them know about me.
So whats been going on in swing wifes life lately? hmmmmmm.....
Normal life here, dealing with the husband and kiddos. Crazy family drama and planning our summer family vacation. The same thing everyone else is doing this time of the year.

Anyone out there in the Pittsburgh PA area? My husband and I are taking the 5 and 3 year old on a road trip. We are in South Florida and will  be traveling to DC, Hershey PA, Pittsburgh PA then down to Atlanta GA. My daughter is so excited because we are going to visit the chocolate factory and the coke factory. For a 5 year old I suppose this is a dream come true! The husband and I have been looking at each other and are just praying the children do not fight with each other the entire 2 weeks! There is so much "LOVE" already between the two!!!!!

Back to Pittsburgh, the husband and I will be getting out for an entire day and night while the grandparents take the kiddos to a theme park and have them for a sleepover. THIS NEVER HAPPENS! We want to make the most of it!!!! Anything exciting lifestyle related things in Pittsburgh?!? We have come to realize that we really prefer to hang out with other swingers. Not to have sex with them persay but to have good conversations and fun! These people are usually no drama and just a blast to be with. No matter how well you know them! You can spot a swinger real quick when you meet someone with a great personality and who isn't afraid to strike up conversations with strangers!!!!

One more thought before I end the blog today- Is it just this area or is everyone getting a divorce right now? Not swingers!! Def. not the swinger community but in the vanilla community. I find it sad. Very very sad. My daughter is on a team and yesterday they held try outs again and out of a group of 20, 3 girls arent returning because there parents are divorcing!!! This is crazy to me!!! I cannot imagine ever getting rid of my husband but to put my children through that at 5, 6 or 7 years old!!! Sad.... very very sad.... I got a remidy!!!! =0) Anyone want to take a guess as to what it is??? hmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

Have a safe week everyone! Thanks for reading!

Better late then never!!!

WOW! I got away from this blog for way too long! Life kinda got in the way there but now I am back and running wild! I love to write I love to share. I am thinking of even sharing this with some friends... we will see though!!
Getting into the lifestyle a year ago now, so much has changed. Everything for the better. My marriage is solid as ever, we understand each other on different levels then ever before. I love my husband for the man he is even more then just a year ago. It is absolutely crazy how this lifestyle changes you so much!!! One of the biggest things I have learned about myself is that I am bi sexual. This was one of the hardest changes I have had to overcome because I never really understood my feelings for women my entire life. After having hours of mock counseling sessions with myself and my husband (side note I went to school for counseling) I have come to the realization that I have always been bi but never identified and been honest with myself about it.
Now I am going to attempt to become more open. Not with my family most likely (though I have several homosexual members in my family) but with my friends. I absolutely love women. The right women of course. I am very picky! That I already knew!!
I am not your typical swinger, I do have pretty high standards. I never want to do the walk of shame =0)
I say to all the swingers or people thinking about swinging, make sure you do set standards for yourself and your partner. So many people just take anything and I just do not get it. Yes its about sex but you wanna be aroused by the sex right?!?
We have had great luck in the past year. We haven't had a tremendous amount of couples but a good amount of new friends and some awesome memories that will always be with me! Living life to the fullest is what it is about!!! Be what you are! Do not be ashamed and love one another!!
As for now, Peace Out!!
